DELISH and easy. Great for large group, tripled the recipe and roasted in a paella pan. I used larger shrimp, found that the smaller ones dried out when roasted until the breadcrumbs were browned.

Had this recipe at a friends house. She doesn't eat seafood but was so taken by the recipe that she made it for her guests and then cooked a second dish that she could eat. Made a double batch of the tomato - fennel sauce at home and froze half of it. A month or two later I pulled it out of the freezer when I needed a quick meal for some unexpected guests. It was great.

Just a marvelous dish especially in mid-winter when cooking risks getting boring and tired. This shrimp dish, coupled with many flavorable ingredients, especially feta, fennel, and Pernod is a real winner! My husband, who doesn't like change very much just loved it! Add some crusty bread and a small salad and you have a fabulous meal!

This gets a definite 5 stars on many fronts!!!

Made an entire, outstanding, company-quality dinner within 1 hour after work. Made the recipe as-is; it was easy, one-pan and delicious. I aways over-cook my shrimp and this was fool-proof perfection. I served the shrimp with store-bought pesto on spaghettini and crusty italian bread. Everyone from my 8 year old daughter to my 50-something hubby was blown away. Better yet, we had 2 pans to wash and I got to sit down and enjoy my wine while the shrimp baked.

PS--Didn't have Pernod so I used Cointreau and it worked just fine!

    What a keeper!

My guests loved this recipe. I used the Pernod. It has a licorice taste, but you could not sense that in the recipe. Great layering of flavors. I am not sure if omitting the Pernod would have made a difference. Great for a party.

Delicious and beautiful presentation! I left out the Pernod and didn't miss it.

mmm I'm eating this as I write. I had no white wine or pernod, so I used red, and I wasn't in the mood for feta (I've been munching on cheese as a snack but then I added olives for saltiness. Easy, healthy, and delicious, yet I would serve it to company. Thanks Ina!
