This was amazing. I made it for fathers day and everyone loved it. I just wish they could have smelled them while they were cooking. I am going to make this again and again.

This was pretty good. This is much better than traditional caprese. My only issue is with the sugar. It made the tomatoes way too sweet. I will try this again without sugar.

This caprese salad is so delicious.....Wish I could give it more stars. The aroma, as the tomatoes are roasting, is outrageous. I use tomatoes from my local farmers market and fresh mozzarella as well. Yum!

Another excellent recipe from Ina. I bought her Back to the Basics cookbook a couple years ago and have tried many recipes, and they're always spot on! This dish is very light, but flavorful and filling! Go Ina!

This is such an awesome dish! It's easy but it looks like you spent all day on it. I can't believe how much flavor the tomatoes have after they're roasted! My husband couldn't stop raving about it all evening. I'll definitely be making this again and again.

I'm speechless !!!! This was FANTASTIC..... Ina's recipe's never fail.... It was super easy to make and probably the best caprese salad i've ever had !!!! Roasting the tomato is key, the flavor was outstanding !!!! Thanks Ina....

OMG, can't believe I even typed that, but this is great! My husband calls it my "signature" dish. Every time we're invited to house parties I make this, and everyone LOVES it. Ina's recipes really never disappoint, that's why she lives in that most fantasic house!
