I love this dish. I ended up putting it on crusty bread and it was fantastic.

Such a marvelous twist on the caprese. The roasting of the tomatoes is absolute magic! I have done this the traditional way but then just stole the idea of the roasted tomatoes, cut them in quarters and put them on sliced toasted baguettes with pesto....a show-stopping appetizer...i call them Caprese Crostinis...now a family favorite and so beautiful!

I don't think I will ever be without these in my fridge. I made the whole sheet pan, with few people to eat the salad. I put the leftovers in a covered glass casserole dish and put them in the fridge.... I have been using them three or four at a time, as Caprese salad, and also on sandwiches, and in other salads too. This will be like milk and butter in my fridge from now on...especially in winter when tomatoes truly do taste like cardboard!

I have been making this recipie with a few tweaks, depending on what I have around, for over a year now. It is one of my absolute favorites, and my boyfriend always requests it! Great for date night, thanks Ina!!!!

It's hard to go wrong with an Ina recipe, in my opinion, and this one didn't fail me either. I never tried roasting the tomatoes before and they added the right amount of flavor and a little touch of sweetness. I loved using my homegrown plum tomatoes and it was so easy to do, I'm sure it will become one of my summer staples. Thanks Ina!

I've always loved the combination of fresh flavors in caprese salad and now I don't know if I'll ever make traditional caprese again. I was blown away by how good this recipe is. I followed the recipe exactly and it was simply fantastic. You've got to try this one!

I love this recipe. I make it before my quests arrive and wonderful smells fill the house. Everyone wants to know what smells so good. Once my quests dive in it isn't long before the platter is gone. It is the most requested dish I make. Thank you Ina for yet another wonderful recipe!!

I have made this recipe many times and have loved it! I use a little less sugar, but other than that, have not changed a thing. It is a crowd pleaser!
