I made these for a side dish on Father's Day for my husband and parents. My mother actually squealed with delight when she tasted them and my husband and father ate the entire tray. They all said they had never tasted ANYTHING so delicious. Make this easy recipe to delight all of your guests!

I planned on making the roasted tomatoes as appetizers for Easter but we had problems with the oven. We put them on the grill (on aluminum foil. They were a little bit soggy but everyone loved them.

So easy and so good. Thanks for a delicious, simple side dish. I didn't have fresh basil and it was good with the dry as well. The balsalmic/oil/sugar/salt/pepper combo is delicious

So easy to throw together. Saved the leftovers and warmed them up in the micro on the next day. Tasty- I'm biased; I love tomatoes any way, so it's nice to have a change.

I made these as a side dish to Giata's Cinnamon Fettucini Carbonara. My husband loved the pasta but went absolutely nuts for these tomatoes...the sweet acidity was a great counterpoint to the creamy richness of the pasta. In addition, these struck me as being a great topping for a simple pasta with tomatoes and basil or chopped up on some mozzarella toasts (like a warm bruschetta. Just delish!
