Made these potatoes Christmas eve. They are so pretty and delicious. Easy too! I made them ahead and reheated when the filet of beef was resting. Totally company worthy. Thanks Ina!

I love Ina Garten. This recipe was fabulous and easy to make. I suggest using the spoon to slice the potatoes because it's easy to cut through unless you are just great with a knife. Enjoy and don't hesitate to try this easy recipe that yields impressive results.

Wonderful!!! Also saw the recipe on American Test Kitchen They used
Russett potatoes and used chopsticks on either side of the potatoes
when sliceing Then ran potatoes under running water as the Russett potatoes have a lot of starch in them This prevents the slices from sticking together. Love all of Ina's recipes.

Once again Ina comes through with a simple yet delicious recipe! One little tip: After you've sliced the potatoes, put your thumbs together on the flat side and push up to fan the potato a bit to make it easier to get the oil and rosemary inside the slices.

Easy peasy. I usually stay away from the cooking thing, but this one was a no-brainer, and everyone loved it.

    Now I'm stuck with it.

This recipe was amazing! Took it to the office Holiday party and was a huge hit. Make sure you use small potatoes. Also the only negative I would give is that it is a little time consuming. Once you have sliced the potatoes you have to spoon the mixture and separate each layer one at a time to make sure the flavor gets in between each one. You can't just drizzle over the top. And you can't cut potatoes ahead of time because they turn brown. Still worth the work!! And so beautiful on the table.
