I never thought of making rugelach, but this recipe is simple and produces great results. I gave them as gifts and people loved them. Be sure to chill the dough as directed in the recipe!

You have to make these! This is a fabulous recipe..I been making for several years. They are classic flavors and so tender. They are beautiful packaged up for gifts.

Dough is just like my family's old Slovak recipe for 'rosky'. Filling is very Eastern European Jewish and delicious. Rugelach/rosky is a very versatile pastry dough, suitable for almost any filling.

This is a great recipe. The good thing about these cookies is you can change it up with different fruits and nuts etc. You can view my photo tutorial on my blog, Baking is my Zen. Recipe is a KEEPER. Thanks Ina!

The cookies tasted great, but I found the dough really difficult to work with. Also my cooking time was more like 25 minutes. I will make them again next year though since my husband loves them.

I feel like the biggest failure! Everyone else is raving about these. I am right in the middle of this recipe followed all directions exactly - chilled the dough throughout the process for long lengths of time, but it is like rolling butter...the cookies look awful (so far I've only done 1/4 of the dough - they are completely falling apart or sticking to everything! This is my first time making rugelach.....I will bake up this batch just to see how they taste. I'm assuming they will be good, based on the ingredients - but do not think I will attempt again unless I'm baking with a pastry chef!

I made these cookies for my church cookie walk. They were sold in minutes! I had never tried these cookies before. They are wonderful!!!! These will definately be on my list of favorite cookies.

What a great cookie! I've had store bought, but they never tasted this good. I made one batch and they were gone in 2 days. I need to make another batch and hide them so that they make my cookie plate for Christmas.

I used peach preserves (there was a sale on preserves and apricot was sold out. The peach was good but I think the apricot will be less sweet.

Thanks Ina for another great receipe!
