    I use dried tart cherries and walnuts and cherry preserves but the dough is wonderful!

    For some reason, ALL the men go nutty over these! :

    I made this recipe last year and it was wonderful. I substituted fig jam for the apricot, because I like figs better. One thing I noticed is that the flavors take a couple of days to meld, so this is a good cookie to bake ahead, place in an airtight container and pull out later. Yum!

    love this recipe. It melts in your mouth. Rolls very easy, also I use the raspberry jam and pineapple.
