Will make again. Took suggestions on past reviews and recipe turned out perfect first time. Changes made: 2 tsp. salt, 3/4 - 1 cup sugar, a little more vanilla and ofcourse a little more rum!

LOVE this recipe. Doesn't make sticky, gloopy, rice pudding. Is light and creamy, delicious, VERY easy to make. By far the best recipe I've ever used!

I made this recipe twice. The first time it was a bit runny, the recipe called for 3 extra large eggs, I used 3 large. The second time I used 4 large eggs and voila.....the consistency was perfect!

Overall excellent; however, next time I plan to increase the sugar by 1/4 cup and add double the rum....that should make this a 5 star dessert.

The taste is delicious; however, I found it to be too watery. I followed the directions to the letter. What could have happened? It wasn't like that on the show.

I MUST BE USED TO THE REALLY GOOD RICE PUDDING MADE BY THE GREEKS - I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH INA'S VERSION. THOUGH THE CONSISTANCY WAS PERFECT, THICK & CREAMY, IT WAS VERY BLAND, EVEN THOUGH IT HAD RUM IN IT & WAS NOT SWEET ENOUGH FOR RICE PUDDING. I COULD NOT TASTE THAT HALF & HALF RICE FLAVOR---JUST BLANDNESS. I PUT SOME CINNAMON ON & IT IMPROVED, BUT I WILL NOT MAKE THIS AGAIN ----TOO FLAT.

This turned out too runny. The flavor almost outweighed the consistancy, but not quite. I'm sure I followed the directions carefully. It really was very delicious and I would love to serve it to friends if only it were thicker.
I wonder if there are any tricks or rules of thumb for making rice pudding?

I was really looking forward to this. It turned out really watery...the consistency was bad..maybe I didn't chill out long enough...

While I did use plenty of extra rum ... this is far and beyond the best rice pudding I've ever made and might ever be the best I've ever had... I'll be making it over and over again!
