I love this recipe. I took liberty with doing it over wilted spinach and pine nuts but it was so good. My husband who is a meat and potatoes guy even loved it.

This salad was okay...I added extra sugar to the dressing and used a tablespoon of mayo instead of egg yolk. Before adding the extra sugar the dressing was very vinegar-y. The cheese was very good.

The flavor of the fried goat cheese is a fantastic combination with the dressing! Loved it.

This salad was fabulous, and the goat cheese was a special addition to the simple vinaigrette. I added a bit more sugar than called for in order to offset the tanginess of the cheese. Thank you, Ina!

I used standard goat cheese medallions, already sliced. This could have been a mistake because they are bit thinner than what Ina uses in her recipe. I could see how this could have the potential to be great, but it was just OK for me. I forgot to chill the goat cheese so maybe that was a key. I thought the temp was too high for the frying. I'll try again but with an herbed goat cheese and lower temp.

This was a very easy and delicious salad to make for my luncheon with my girlfriends. They raved about it and most of the preperation could be done the night before. I highly recomend this!

The warm goat cheese is excellent. I added just a few more drops of champagne vinegar to give the dressing a little more tang. This is a simple, yet elegant salad.

Good & easy, yet fancy. Although my goat cheese fell apart.

This salad was absolutely perfect in every way. I made it for a dinner party and everyone raved. It's a keeper. Ina is the best.
