I've made these with salmon, crab and have even used sea bass and it is always delicious! This is the one fish dish I can get the kids to eat without any complaints. Thanks for another great recipe, Ina!

Absolutely delicious! I covered the cakes with some Panko, then baked them at 425 for 10 mins each side.

Our family echos the other rave reviews for this recipe. Since fresh salmon is in our backyard, we fish and freeze alot of it.
I followed the recipe without the capers, as that is not an item I normally have on hand. I also pulled out the George Foreman Grill that I had not used in years to cook the patties on. Boy, how simple was that! 5 minutes and done and delicious! This is one recipe that will be used over and over to help use up our last years catch of salmon!!

I over ate SALMON in the 90's. I buy it occassionally because I know it is good for me and my family, but there is always trepedation on my part. There are few preparations that really wow me, and this recipe really surprised us! It was flavorful, tender and satisfying. To save a few calories I baked them in a 425 oven for 10 minutes and they were great! No need to drain on paper towels and they were very moist. I served them with a chipotle mayo and WOW! Fantastic!

Delicious! One of her best! Tasty & flavorful. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. My husband asked me to make them every week! nuf said. I served it with a greek yogurt dill sauce.

These salmon cakes were fabulous! They stayed moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. Great flavor! I can't wait to make them again.

Truly the best salmon cakes EVER. Our 18-month old boy loved them
and his father who never eats fish mixed with anything said they
were wonderful. The rest of us ahhed through the whole meal.
