    Lentils recipe was awesome, however having grown up in the coast of Ecuador where lentils are a staple, I couldn't imagine cooking them without cumin for an added layer of smoky flavor. Lentils love cumin, and viceversa! Try it, you'll like it...

    I used ketchup instead of tomato paste as I did not have any in my pantry. The lentils came out great and my girlfriend liked it very much. It is definitely a keeper, I will make the lentil with chicken too!

    I just made the lentils from this recipe for my family tonight to go with pork chops and they were superb! It was a flavorful and healthy side dish.

    Easy to make and delicious! Made this for friends who were just as impressed with the taste and presentation. We had leftover lentils which were a tasty standalone side dish, the next day. Thanks, Ina!

    This was the most delicious salmon dish I have ever had/made. It was extremely flavorful. I have never had lentils until today. They are my new favorite. And easy to cook with. I will definitely going to add this to my favorites!!

    INA... these lentils are the BEST! They are the one thing I can make that is completely healthy and keep wanting more and more of. The longer they sit, the better they taste also- without any work from the cook! Great recipe.

    This recipe is FABULOUS!!! My whole family loved it! When I made it, my grocery store was out of leeks, so I just went heavy on the onions. Also, I used boxed chicken stock. Even without the leeks and using premade stock, the lentils had amazing flavor. Also, although I prepared the salmon the same way, I did the actual cooking on the grill because it was easier for me. We will definitely be making this one again!

    the lentils portion of this recipe is very similar to ina's sausage and lentil soup, which is also amazing! this is my most favorite salmon recipe ever!!! the lentils are great on their own w/ a sprinkle of parm (which is how she recommends you serve the soup! they'll be my lunch tomorrow!!!
