I have made this recipe several times. I have tried it with Sherry and Marsala wine but I prefer Marsala. My only variation is that I use hot sausage and I remove the stems and ribs from the mushrooms to add more room for that wonderful filling. Always a bit hit and requested over and over again. Thanks Ina!!

Big hit as one of our Thankgsving appetizers. Very easy made the stuffing ahead, cooled slightly and refrigerated(prior to adding the cheeses. Re-heated the stuffing and swirled in the marscapone and parm cheeses as the mushrooms where marinating in marsala.

OMG.....these are SOOOO incredibly delicious! I made them as a Christmas appetizer and they were gone within a minute! I wish I had bought more mushrooms ( I used regular size mushrooms because I had alot of filling left over and my guests would have devoured them in a heartbeat! This was my first attempt at stuffed mushrooms and I will look no further for another recipe....this is a keeper! Thank you Ina!!
