This dish is what it is. Sauteed carrots. Plain and simple. My mother thought the dill was a little overpowering. If I make these again, I might go with less. Thanks for the recipe Ina!

Sometimes all it takes is some simple ingredients to make a delicious dish. I thought this was going to be a bit plain but I decided to give it a try and I was not disappointed. They cooked perfectly, not mushy but soft with a slight bite. And I love a vegetable dish that doesn’t have a ingredient that over powers the vegetable, this enhances the carrots flavor, perfectly seasoned, buttery and the fresh taste of the parsley. The best part of this recipe is it is very easy to make. My new go to recipe when I am serving carrots.

Delicious. Who would have thought that adding a little fresh dill could make such a huge difference. My husband, who doesn't like cooked carrots, enjoyed these.

So delicious! I love carrots and dill together. I served them with Christmas dinner. I wanted to serve carrots that were a little jazzed up but wouldn't compete with the other items on the menu. This was a simple yet elegant vegetable side. I suggest using fresh dill, if it's available to you.

I can't believe anyone gave this more than 2 stars at most. To suggest either dill or parsley is nuts. There is no similarity in flavor. The recipe was just boring and I would never make it again!!!!!!!!!!

I hate cooked carrots. Most of the time I can't even bring myself to swallow them. I've got little ones though so I'm always looking for a new way to make them that I might enjoy. This recipe was it! These are tasy and my entire crew ate them up! (i would've given them a 5 but i'm still not fully converted to a cooked carrot lover!

I never liked cooked carrots as a child and haven't really eaten them since. My husband likes them and I had a nice bunch of sweet carrots so I hunted for a good recipe. I came across this one and decided to give it a whirl.
I used chicken stock instead of water and pink sea salt because I had no course salt. Also, my fresh parsley is slow growing this year, so I decided to use some fresh spicy basil. I figured a little spice, along with the sweetness of the carrots would be good.
What a simple to do recipe that not only looks good, but tastes good as well. I'll try it with the dill next time, but I like knowing that I can substitute out the herbs and still have a fantastic dish!

These carrots couldn't be easier to make, and my picky husband devoured them. They cook easily, and the dill gives them a great flavor! Definitely keeping this veggie side in the rotation.
