The recipes has a good flavor, very rich. The only thing I would do different is remove the scallops from the pan and serve the wine, onion and garlic reduction on the side. The wine made the coating on the scallops soggy and gave the crust a slimmy texture.

fantastic! I even substituted a little olive oil for some of the butter and was still great. What an easy recipie - My husband says this is a keeper. Thanks!

This was a great, very easy recipe! I felt that there was something missing though, it needed a kick. But overall it was delicious. Great job Ina !

This is awesome. I was always nervous about cooking scallops and I was really missing out! Great recipe and very simple. Can't wait to impress friends and family with this one!

Not such a great Ina recipe. The shallots gave the "sauce" a raw oniony flavor and the wine gave it a bitter taste, maybe the sauce needs to be cooked more with some other liquid. The "sauce" was also very thick and the scallops stuck to the bottom of the pan and fell apart when tossed with the vegetables. On the bright side, they were cooked perfectly.

I have tried many recipes of other chefs on Food Network. Some have come out very good and others turned out so bad I had to throw out the dish. But, I have never tried a recipe of Ina's that did not come out incredible including this one. It was so easy and quick that I was afraid it was not going to taste good. The scallops were so tender and moist, and, of course, all that butter added so much flavor. I served this over a bed of white rice and roasted asparagus. I love recipes that are quick and easy and come out 5 star!

It was great and very easy to make. I didn't cut my sea scallops in half and they were fine.

Easy, easy, easy...fresh, delicious and fancy enough to wow your guests! My guests and I just loved it. Make it now before the scallops are all radio-active.
