I used 1-1/2 pounds of scallops and followed recipe precisely. However, I made it with a pasta side w/olive oil, grated fresh parmesan and parsely. We feed 5 of us with no problem. Will definately make this again.

This was such a delicious and elegant meal. The scallops were quick and easy to prepare yet they were packed with amazing flavor. It's a great dish to impress your dinner guests.

Scallops and rice the accompanies the receipe is excellent. I have seen another Foodtv episode about scallops. After rinsing, I placed the scallops on paper towels and turned afer 30 minutes to completely drain the moisture. The scallops will not brown if too moist. The herbed rice was excellent and would be good served will other grilled seafood. I purchased the large scallops and did not slice per the recipe. They would have been overcooked. I did add ~ 1 tbsp of olive oil to the butter before browning the scallops. I will definitely be making this again.

I got some scallops to change up our meals at home and I remembered Ina making this recipie. It was simple, fast, and absolutely wonderful. My family was coming in the kitchen while it was cooking because it smelled that good and then they gave me so many compliments after they ate the dish. Absolutely make this! I am about to try it with shrimp too.

This dish is great. Highly recommend it to you. I made it and only one suggestion. Serve it immediately as Ina says. It is not nearly as good if you try to re warm it.

Made the scallops for dinner. Very easy to prepare and delicious. My husband and I loved it and even my son, who does not like fish, said that it was good. Will make this dish again.
