Thanks INA!! Easy cookie (I have never baked a scratch cookie; only cakes and pies. Very tastie, shortbread is my favorite! For those who complain; please remember we do not live in the same "zone" Keep a close eye on them... Florida cookies were AWESOME!!

Wow! After I made the dough for these cookies, I was called away. They stayed wrapped up in Saran Wrap in the fridge for 2 more days. I've finally found the time to bake these. OMG, my house smells like a bakery! These cookies are marvelous, not too sweet, they are just right! Thank you Ina, you have never disappointed me!

I baked these according to the directions and got burnt cookies! I rebaked a cookie I had left that didn't fit on the baking sheet and it was done in 14 minutes. I would make sure you check these cooking times before you set the timer and walk away!

Extremely easy recipe to make and one of the best cookies ever. I rolled it in red and green sugar, it looked perfect for Christmas. Made a new batch and dipped those in chocolate and pressed the chocolate end in ground nuts. Perfect with a cup of coffee. Great to ship to college students.

AMAZING!!!! This recipe is super easy to follow and they taste wonderful, I made these for Thanksgiving and everyone thought I bought them, my husband had to testify that I actually made these myself. You can't go wrong with this recipe.

If I could give these cookies a 0 star I would, they taste like flour and even my husband would not eat them. I through out the hole batch.

These were great! I used salted butter and omitted the 1/4 tsp salt from the recipe. I also made them a little thinner and chilled the dough after cutting it, before putting it in the oven. YUM!

My dough seemed crumbly at first but came together after kneading and chiliing in the fridge. I should have scrolled through the reviews before making this recipe though...my kitchen stays pretty warm; it definitely would have been a good ideal to make two balls of dough and take them out when ready to use. As a result of not doing that, only some of the cookies kept their shape. On the bright side, this was easy to make and tasted amazing. I will make them again.
