Outstanding cookies! My only modification was that I used 60% cacao instead of the recommended chocolate. We now have a new family favorite in our cookie repertoire!

Yumyum these are so good. I love short bread cookies but they are a bit pricey. Making them is so easy. I had no trouble with them being too dry. I did freeze the dough for a few days because I had some other baking to do. I let them thaw out over night in the frig then took them out and let them get almost to room temp. then rolled out and baked. I used dark choc. chips and put them back in the freezer because I won't be ready for them for about a week. Thanks Ina love these cookies.

Way too crumbly and the cooking time was too long for my oven as the first batch was too brown at 18 min. Where I started. 15 min. was good and the last half of the batch was good. Watch them close!?

I am a vegetarian cook, so this is what I am looking for "eggless". I tried the recipe step by step and it turned out to be good. Then after a week i tried making it using ready made sugar cookie dough and its was good.

These cookies are SO delicious I can't stand it! I have been looking for a fabulous shortbread recipe ever since Pannera stopped making them all the time. These are so much better!

I made these cookies today. I think the cookies needed a little more flavor, maybe next time I'll increase the vanilla and decrease the flour by 1/4 cup. They were very tasted with the chocolate, but not plain.

Delicious, light, and buttery! My fiance loved these cookies! I few different touches I made...I dipped a fork into the chocolate, then put the cookie on wax paper and flicked the fork across the top of the cookie. Very cute and decorative! I also added some silver cupcake sprinkles to give it a winter night look. Only changes were to decor, the recipe is perfect!

These were absolutely delicious and not very difficult to make. My mom and I agreed to make 5 different kinds of cookies, (she beat me by making 7 more- 13 different total I wanted to try these. When it came down to our cookie gift tins, I didn't want to give these up. I know Bah-Humbug! These will definitely be one I will be making every Christmas and more than likely months in between! Thanks Ina
