I've used this recipe forever - it's the best and easy to make last minute. Don't skimp on the FRESH lemon juice (no substitute.
Make it fresh & don't store for more than a day or two in the fridge.
Any longer & it takes on a 'congealed" consistency we don't like.

This recipe was fantastic. Not being a lover of horseradish, I could use just one tablespoon of it and it made it perfect for me and my guests. Have copied the recipe 3 times for friends and family. Thanks, Ina. I trying your Eggplant Gratin next!

I'd always had a problem with overcooking my shrimp..it was tough and bland.
This recipe changed all that...it's simple and the cooking time is perfect. Adding the lemon and salt to the water makes a tasty difference.

Loved it, I cut back on the horseradish because it was a lil' too spicy for me but hubby loves it hot.. hot.. hot... would recommend this recipe to anyone who is a shrimp lover.
