Didn't have enough eggs so I halved the recipe. It was amazing! I broke the eggs up by hand with a knife and fork because I like my egg salad chunky.
Update...we started to add a tablespoon of chopped chives and half a teaspoon of plain horseraddish (the plain kind not the red stuff with beet juice It really kicked it up a notch.

This tastes amazing! The egg salad is perfect and serving it on top of the salty smoked salmon is a wonderful idea. I made this for a brunch party I hosted and everyone ate it up. It's so easy to make that I plan to make it for lunch for myself often. I recommend following the recipe as it's written.

Excellent! Better than I could ever find in the best Deli in Dallas! I made the mistake of rounding my teasponoon of kosher salt just a tiny bit and it was a bit too salty for me, but not inedible. So, next time, I'll stick to the exact one teaspoon or perhaps a little less. So delicious. Will make this often!

Holy moly! If you are reading this review, I assume you are looking for something delicious to make. Search no further. This is the best egg salad you will ever taste. Anywhere. Period. Pairing it with the salmon is genius. You will eat it and not believe it was you who made it. Your guests will taste and then you really feel like a star. This recipe makes you want to come up with a reason to host a luncheon!!!!!!!! Thanks, Ina!

I made these for a baby shower and it was easy and so good! I couldn't find the right kind of smoked salmon, so I made them without, but I wasn't dissapointed at all! Easily the best and easiest egg salad I have made. I added a little chopped celery for crunch, so yummy. The girls were very impressed!

I JUST DON'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START...THIS IS THE BEST EGG SALAD I HAVE EVER HAD...EVER!! WITH THE SALMON...WELL IT IS JUST A BONUS. I'LL NEVER MAKE EGG SALAD ANY OTHER WAY. ON THE FRENCH BREAD IT IS SO GOOD, YOU REALLY DON'T HAVE TO TOAST IT. DONNA G MADE ME LAUGH (ONE OF THE REVIEWERS SHE'S SO RIGHT...MAKE IT AND DO NOT INVITE ANYONE, I COULD EAT ALL OF IT BY MYSELF. PROBABLY MANY OF YOU WOULD HAVE ICED TEA WITH THIS OR SOMETHING CLOSE TO THAT (ME TOO BUT A COLD ULTRA LIGHT MICHELOB AMBER BEER WAS GREAT WITH THIS...I LOVE YOU INA!!!!!!!

This is a fabulous recipe that I've made many times and always receive rave reviews. I'll be making it again on Easter Sunday as it's a perfect hors d'oeuvre when served on toasted baguette slices. Thanks Ina! I've never gone wrong with your recipies. You're the bomb!

This is absolutely delicious and my egg salad recipe from now on! Thank you, Ina. It's also good garnished with a few capers.
