Easy, quick and delicious. In the winter I use dried dill since i don't want to buy a huge bunch of the fressh herb when I only need a little bit, and it works just as well. Everytime I make this, people ask me for the recipe. I serve it as a spread wtih bagel chips or party size pumpernickel bread slices. I find it a little too stiff to be used as a dip for crudites (it would need to be thinned a little with cream to be able to dip into it. If you like smoked salmon, you'll love this!

This immediately became a family favorite with the recipe being shared among all my relatives. I often substitute lime for the lemon since I tend to stock them more than lemons. It doesn't change the flavor much at all.

Very quick and easy to make, and as promised, it tasted even better the next day.
