Very Nice. The lemon & horseradish in this recipe are a perfect blend. Yum.

It is probably the best spread I've ever made. My friends raved about it and I was constantly asked for the recipe. It was funny because I printed the recipe several months ago when it first came out. Then I gave my copy of the recipe to a friend thinking I had some more. Well, my friend lost the recipe and called me to ask for the ingredients, that's when I realized that I didn't have my own copy. I immediately went to foodtv.com and could not find the recipe because it was expired. Today to my amazement, Ina had it on the air.
I loved it and was so happy to save it to my favorite recipes. So now I'll never lose it again. Thanks Ina and Foodtv for bringing back this GREAT recipe. I love your show and especially the Barefoot Contessa!!!!

I made this for a bbq and my host and the rest of the guest totally ate it up!
I served it on mini pieces of pumpernickle bread. One of the guests at the bbq is from Sweeden and she said that the spread reminded her of home. I added a little more horseradish and a little more lemon juice and that seemed to do the trick for me...and honestly, it only took about 20 mins to make, start to finish! Thanks INA!!
