I love this deliciously moist coffee cake. The sour cream made a world of difference.

I've made this cake many times now and every time I serve it, people are delighted! I take Ina's suggestion of replacing the cake flour with 2 1/4 cups of cake flour, and a 1/4 cup of cornstarch. It doesn't make a difference in the cake at all, and you can use this same trick with other recipes that call for cake flour. Enjoy!

I have made this a few times now and it is delicious and very filling!!! Would definitely double the streusel next time because that is the best part.

Delicious! I had to make a bunch of substitutions like using all-purpose flour instead of cake flour and plain yogurt instead of sour cream but it was still awesome. Very moist and not crumbly. I highly recommend doubling the streusel and putting a healthy layer in the middle of the cake and I would double or triple the glaze. I brought this to a church function and not a crumb was left...although I did have seconds myself...

I made this two days ago and I'm STILL LOVING IT!!! Even two days later it is super moist and delish. I didn't have any cake flour so I used a yellow cake mix. I followed the cake box directions, except I added sour cream and vanilla like Ina's recipe calls for. I also doubled the streusel and it was the perfect amount. I will never buy Barnes and Nobles coffee cake again - this was WAY BETTER!!! =

Made this the other day and it was great, except for the streusel....it was too salty. Surprised I didn't see that more in the reviews. Making it again without adding the salt. Also noticed that the glaze just seeps into the cake, making it unnoticeable. Going to this time cool completely before adding to see if that helps. Very tasty though!

This is THE crowd pleaser. I left out the nuts completely for family members with allergies. Added blueberries to the cake mix and it came out beautiful. Very nice recipe.
