    they are really easy and really fast to make. my whole family loved it and it was perfect for fathers day. it is a really good dish if your looking for something healthy, quick to make, and DELICIOUS.

    These are super easy. I add four garlic cloves to the water with potatoes and then put them all through a ricer. I also add a bunch of chopped chives. I don't add pepper. I only added 4 tbsp of butter as I thought 6 might be too much. These mashed potatoes complement many dishes.

    I sorta cheated and added two of my grandma's secret ingredients for her mashed potatoes. She doesn't measure, nor does she use sour cream, so whenever I try to recreate hers, it's pretty much hit or miss. With these proportions of milk, butter, and sour cream, all I have to do is play with the amounts of secret ingredients that I put in.

    I made this on new year's eve for my friends and everyone loved them! I substituted half and half for the milk and they were creamy and flavorful!! I will definitely make these again!

    I love Ina's receipes but this one was a little more bland than usual. I added extra sour cream and it was still bland. Her parmesean mashed potatoes are awesome though. I'll definatly make those again!

    The sour cream mashed potatoes were absolutely the best mashed potatoes I have ever enjoyed! Smooth as silk and perfectly seasoned. I'll make this recipe again and again. Thanks Ina!
