I'm honored to be the first to review this soup.....it is amazing, it just has as super taste to it, the sweetness from the peas come through but not too much, I did not have shallots at home so I just cut a sweet onion in half and used that with the garlic, also I had tiny cubes of ham so I added a bit of them too, this is sooo good and really fast and simple to put together and yes the proscuitto was wonderful on top...Thanks again Ina!!!

Easy and tasty. I shared with friends who loved it and promptly asked for the recipe. Then they nagged me because I hadn't emailed the recipe fast enough.
