I made a few changes because of the ingredients that I had on hand. I used Hot Italian Sausage and added more parsley and garlic powder, because I really like garlic. They were the best meatballs that I ever had, even with the changes that I made. I am 70 years young, so that means that I've eaten a lot of meatballs, the ones that I have made and other peoples and these are far superior!!

Excellent meatballs! I halved the recipe as it is two of us and we didn't want to eat this all week and even though there is still some left over the hubby is already asking me when I will be making this again. The addition of breadcrumbs with milk really keep these meatballs from getting dense and tough like hockey pucks, which is what happens to my turkey burgers. I will try this trick next time. The asiago cheese is a refreshing change from the usual mozzarella or Parmesan. The Rao's sauce also was a nice choice, not too tomato tasting. Good job Ina, thanks.

Made this for a big dinner party last weekend everyone loved them and i wish I had made more. Later in the year I can use the meat mixture and turn it into an Italian stuffing for Thanksgiving. Ina this recipe rocks!

my family went wild for these. they are so moist and flavorful. they don't have that "turkey" taste and I even used turkey italian sausage. they are a bit of work but worth it. these are now the only meatballs i will make.

These were delicious!! I will make them again and again! I had parmesan instead of asiago, and I also used less red pepper flakes since we aren't big on spice. Even with those changes the meatballs were phenomenal. Thanks Ina!

Followed the recipe just as written....Excellent for turkey balls. Balls were juicy and delish! Rao's sauce is really worth the price, it is very good sauce! Everyone at work loved them.

Let me start by saying that I have been searching for years for a good meatball recipe. Every time I make meatballs I am not impressed and they always have a bad taste to me, but I held out hope because I know good meatballs are out there. This recipe changed everything and this is my new meatball recipe. I had no idea that turkey meatballs would be what I was looking for, but they are every bit of what I was hoping for. They have a kick to them, but that's what makes them awesome...I hope you love them as much as we do!

These meatballs rock! I don't even really care for meatballs generally, but these are so tasty and unique I can't stop using this recipe. I also have made them for potluck and football parties Didn't serve them with pasta, but followed the recipe and just let them keep warm in a crockpot and everyone loved them! I also love how when you bake them in the oven as opposed to frying them, like other recipes, they get kind of crispy on the outside and stay moist in the center. Great texture!

Really yummy. Husband and kids liked them (only used 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes. Only criticism is that they were a little dense. Maybe I man-handled them too much? The asiago was a nice touch and baking them was super easy. Looking forward to leftovers tomorrow!
