Fabulous Recipe. Made these for dinner and my husband cannot have tomato sauce so we ate them plain as 'sliders' on crusty tuscan boule bread. Great flavor and didn't need any sauce at all. Love them and so did my husband.

This recipe was excellent! I added my own seasonings to the meatballs in addition to the ones listed and it came out fantastic! Thanks Ina

Insanely good and really easy. I love baking the meatballs in the oven -- much less messy than stovetop browning. I skipped the pancetta and only needed two jars of sauce, but other than that, I followed the recipe as written. Spicy, savory and perfect for Sunday dinner!

Made meatballs this evening and was surprisingly disappointed. I made a trial meatball and was not impressed. It lacked quite a bit of flavor...I added some ketchup and sriracha sauce to the remaining mixture which was fine but I would not not make these again.

Awesome recipe and the best meatballs I've ever made by myself. I used ground beef instead of turkey, but I couldn't even tell the difference they were so good.
However, skip the oil brushing (right before you bake, as it'll start smoking in the oven for like 10 minutes. I'm not sure if cheaper olive oil does this, but I'll avoid it going forward. Also, be SURE to cut the tablespoon of salt in half; the Asiago cheese and sausage have so much salt already, the amount was just a bit much and while the meatballs tasted great, salt-sensitive folk may not come back for a second serving. Otherwise, so delicious with or without sauce.

I made this recipe and all I can saw is wow! Very delicious as usual for Ina's recipes. We liked it better than any other meatballs we ever had. Much better than traditional beef meatballs. Very tasty with a nice spicy kick. If I owned a restaurant this recipe would be a mainstay on the menu. You will not be disappointed! Make sure that you follow it exactly and use a nice loaf of bread for the breading. I used store bought bread crumbs one time as I didn't have a loaf at home and it was not as good as when I used my own bread.

These meatballs were absolutely amazing! I wasn't sure what to expect and they just blew me away. I didn't change a thing in the recipe - they're perfect. Give this recipe a try; you won't be sorry!

I watched Ina make this recipe on TV and I thought I'd give it a try. Boy was I glad I did. I've made it so many times and it is always a hit. I double recipe and freeze meatballs but next time. My husband loves this recipe and doesn't want me to use any other one. Thanks, Ina.
