    I cook everything Ina! This is absolutely one of my favorites. My family can't get enough. It is easy, but has very sophisticated flavors in the end. I also made my first rue when I did this recipe. As always, thank you Ina!

    I made this dish for Thanksgiving.. It was very easy to make... I didn't use the nutmeg.. It was a BIG hit... Everyone LOVED it! I'm actually making it again this weekend with for some friends.. only instead of using it as a side.. I'm using it as a warm spinach dip appetizer with scoops! YUMMMMO :

    I made this for thanksgiving and it recieved nothing but positive comments... A few people wanted the recipe and so i must give it to al least one person! I used fresh spinich(2 large containers as a pose to frozen, I had to use a bit more elbow grease but it was WELL worth the work..it was so rich and creamy...yummy! I also used half shallots and only used about 3 cups of onion,next time i will add garlic also. Ina is a Great cook....try this recipe even if you dont like spinich... you'll end up loving it,its staying in my file!!!

    I made this as a Thanksgiving side dish. Everyone LOVED it! I've never seen spinach fly off a table so quickly. Very easy to put together, as a matter of fact I put the whole thing together in the morning and put it into the refrigerator until about an hour before dinner and just extended the baking time by about 10 minutes. This dish has definetely made its way into my regular recipe collection. Thank you again to The Barefoot Contessa, you never steer me wrong!

    I printed this recipe out, purchased the ingredients and gave it to my mom (along with two others to make. She was not motivated to cook anything for thanksgiving. Well she did it and I heard many people at dinner including myself telling her how good her spinach dish was. It is in my recipe box and book and I will certainly revisit this one soon.

    I don't usually like cooked spinach but because of the great reviews I made it for Thanksgiving...everyone who tried it liked it. It was pretty easy too. Next time I'm going to try it as a dip

    So easy, and everybody loved it. Made it double for Thanksgiving thinking there would be plenty of leftovers for everybody, and I guess there were, except for me. None to take home, but will make myself some more, as it is some excellent spinach!!! As always, Ina's recipes are SO GOOD, and very easy to execute.
