Everyone raved over this spinach treatment at a recent holiday party. You can make it with Parmamesian cheese as well, with equal compliments!

I tried this recipe for the first time on Sat. for a dinner party that I was having and it was a hit.

I didn't tell everyone that it was packed full of calories with the heavy cream and all but once in a while forget the waistline and live it up.

Very good recipe, but I did two things different. I added less onion and I used fresh cooked spinach. My husband and I find the frozen spinach to be on the tough side. It is just as easy to do as the frozen and so much better!

This is as good as spinach gets! Absolutely delicious. Don't leave out the nutmeg and use fresh nutmeg at that. I served this with steak and this dish holds a candle to the best creamed spinach dishes I have ever had at the most well known steak houses - including Peter Luger's in New York, Lawrey's Prime Rib in Los Angeles and Bones in Atlanta. Fantastic Ina! I try more of your dishes than anyone else's on Food Network! Your cookbooks are the ultimate too.

A nice recipe except make sure the onions get plenty soft while you saute them, otherwise you will find too much crunch in the final product. Very tasty, though.

I followed this recipe exactly and only a couple of people at our Christmas dinner enjoyed it. Only the 'hard core' spinach lovers decided it was ok and the rest of us couldn't even choke it down. I was terribly disappointed as it is a fairly time consuming recipe. I had so much leftover that I ended up having to toss out -- too much of a waste of money!
