I've made this for pot luck parties and will be making it again tomorrow for another one, always a huge hit! Perfect consistency!

I love spinach, any way I can get it and this was definitely the BEST spinach gratin I have ever had!!! Use the good cheese, like Ina says, the flavors are worth it! The recipe does make a large quantity so I will reserve this recipe for parties, plus it isn't exactly health food, so we shouldn't eat it too often anyway. I will pull it out for special occasions though!! MMMMMMM! Thanks, Ina!!

This was a major hit with my family. Even my father, who does not like spinach loved this dish!! I will definately be making it again and I love the fact that I was able to go right to Whole Foods to find the Gruyere cheese. This introduced me to cheese I had never tried before and although I would never eat it alone, it was a great cheese for the dish!!

I altered the dish in two (2 ways...I added fresh chopped garlic and I used more parmesan and gruyere cheese than the recipe called for!! Wonderful additions to an already fabulous recipe!!

I halved the recipe so we ran out. I'll cook the entire recipe next time.

I just watched the video again as I am serving this delish dish tonight. Ina makes it seem so easy (and it is but I see all the little details that enhance the recipe. I treasure my Reggiano, but for this, sacrifice is a given!

I had planned a simple chicken parmigiano with roasted potato when some commented that I needed three items on my plate and salad did not count (it has a seperate plate. Having done this recipe for mutiple family meals I knew it would be well recieved. However, the praise was overwhelming! Members thought they "had died and gone to heaven." It made it very worth squeezing 25 lbs of frozn spinach!!! This is a MUST HAVE recipe for everyone's kitchen. Based on cost, I did substitute swiss for the cheese.

Made this tonight. Everyone loved it. We are a vegetarian family so I made it as a main course. I added egg noodles and made a crunchy topping out of bread crumbs, cheese, and butter. Good stuff!!
