It came out great!!! My husband loved it, said it reminded him when he was little kid . Didn't add the raisins. First time making and eating it and it was really really good.

Another 100% terrific recipe! Years ago I had a wonderful recipe for cabbage rolls and lost it over time. This is better than what I remember mine tasted like! Left out the rasins (editorial comment: ick.
I wish Ina would do a Jewish heritage cookbook - wouldn't that be great? Cabbage rolls are both Polish and Jewish in origin, as far as I can tell.

Amazing!!! You will want to make a triple recipe and freeze some. I personally omit the raisins, but make the rest of it as is.

We really enjoyed this, even though my little ones made a face when they saw it. One taste....and they were won over. Will definitely make again. Can't wait to have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!!

This is a definite must try! Excellent flavor & very easy to prepare. I would serve this to guests, it's that good.Even my picky MIL loved it & raved about it to others. I did skip the raisins, but everything else was the same. Thanks Ina for a great take on an old favorite.

I did make a few changes by using 2lbs of fresh tomatoes, red onions, and italian flavored breadcrumbs. Instead of boiling cabbage i placed in microwave for 5 minutes. After the dish had finished cooking I tasted one and the rice was still hard. I had to cook in the microwave for 20 minutes. Next time I will par cook my rice. This was my first time making dish and the family enjoyed it. Thanks Ina.

Love Ina - one of my favourites, and saw her make this last week on her show. It looked scrumptious, but upon reading the recipe, it seemed really high in calories/fat. Made it and it was divine - of course! Making 12 large rolls to serve 6, as recommended, however, come in at whopping 835 calories & 45 grams of fat per serving! And that's if nothing else is served.
We served 1 roll plus a salad to make it more balanced. Plan to use it as inspiration but tweak it quite a bit to reduce calories/fat.
5 stars for flavour and ease
1 star for excessively high calorie/fat
= 3 stars overall
(PS - To "Delicious" - if you decide to use brown rice, par cook it about half way for it to sufficiently cook inside the rolls

Very good, however we will reduce the amount of onion in the sauce next time. I must say this is a really, really good recipe. Sure there are many versions of stuffed cabbage, my mother in laws included (and her recipe was amazing! however I was not disappointed and will make this one again. I did expect this to have a more sweet and sour sauce, it was more an Italian style sauce, but again a wonderful recipe. It made 20 rolls, we froze half and will enjoy on another occassion. While not my mother in laws, I know she wiould be proud we made them.
