garlic was way overpowering. i halved all of the components of the recipe (and even put less than half the garlic. i dont like cooked tomatoes so i thought this would be the perfect dish, especially during the summer with wonderful fresh tomatoes , but even not thinking about the garlic it wasnt very good

I tried this last night and I don't know if I did something wrong but I was not impressed. I did not use angel hair but I don't know why that would make a difference. All the tomatoes and cheese stayed at the bottom of the bowl.

I think that this was a lovely summer meal. I didn't add enough basil, though, and it is important to have a ton of it. I actually especially enjoyed the leftovers. I just ate it right from the fridge. No need to even heat it. Light and refreshing. Will definitely make it again.

This was so easy and so good. I did add some fresh zucchini sliced in medallions. I will make this again and again and again!!! Thanks Ina!

My husband isn't much of a pasta lover, but said he "loved" this! Definitely a keeper.

I made this last night for 4 hungry men and they ate multiple servings! Very quick and easy. I didn't macerate the tomatoes for longer than an hour and a half and would try that next time. Delicious and simple - perfect for summer! I ate the leftovers today and I will definitely make this again.

Definitely a great dish! Using a little starchy pasta water to make the "sauce" is definitely the trick when you're putting in the grated cheese. A great summer dish - will definitely make this again. Although, I think the four pints of tomatoes was overkill - will try three next time.
