I like this recipe ok but I have Asian peanut sauce that's just as good and much less expensive to make. By the time you buy all best ingredients Ina calls for you have just created $40- $50 noodles. I don't think many people have tahini, chili oil, sherry, sherry vinegar, etc. sitting around.

I found this to be a very nice dish. When i first saw it i thought it would be good with some chicken. I lightly browned 1lb of diced chicken beast then threw in the bell beppers for a little bit to make them a little more tender. I omitted half of the tahini and made up the difference with the peanut butter as well as putting in some dried chili flakes to give it some more zip. Yum.

I had never heard of Tahini (sesame paste or ever used it before. I had to drive 75 miles to find it at a health food store. Once my mission was complete and I got busy making this dish, it smelled wonderful. As the dish cooled during serving, the Tahini gave it a odd thickness (almost pastythat I didn't care for or my guests. If I make this again, I'd skip the Tahini and add extra peanut butter. Tahini is roasted and ground sesame seeds with peanut oil, it smells like peanuts.

This dish was delicious. I am not a fan of peanut butter in food except desserts so I cut the amount in half. It was easy and good. My husband who doesn't like peanut butter ate almost all of it. Great to eat cold or warm.

The sauce had such an incredible, rich flavor. I'm going to bring it to my next group dinner - I know everyone will be impressed. The flavor is more intense & wonderful the next day.

This is a great accompaniment to asian and non-asian meals. Could use a little bit more heat but this is not a problem, I just like my spicy dishes to be spicier! Using fettucine noodles was a great idea!

This turned out great, though I only needed two-thirds of the sauce to nicely dress a pound of noodles. I didn't use a food processor, and I needed to add a few tablespoons of water to get the sauce the right consistency. I also added julienned, blanched snow peas and toasted sesame seeds. Will definitely make this again.
