Great recipe. The only thing I altered was I substituted 1 tsp of fresh lemon juice for the Champagne vinegar since I find lemon goes better with fish as the acid than a vinegar flavour. Most recipes I have seen for Tartar sauce call for lemon juice, so I went that way with Ina's recipe and it was fantastic!

Fantastic and VERY easy. So much better than store bought and you can control the fat a bit by using reduced fat mayo made with olive oil! Thank you, Ina!

Quick & Delicious! So easy to make and very tasty. I added about a tablespoon more of mayo to make it a little creamier, other than that it's perfect.

I love this easy recipe. I have made this as is multiple times; always perfect as is.
I also have added in 1 T minced fresh dill from the garden when available and it is a very nice enhancement. Thanks Ina!

Great! I added a pinch of sugar and used relish. I will be using this recipe again and never go back to the store bought stuff!

OMG! This recipe is not only delicious but quick to prepare! I followed to the recipe exact. I will never buy store bought again. I served this with Rachel Rays Crispy Oven Fish Fry, a recipe which I did modify. For a side dish I prepared sweet potato wedges. What a hit! Might I add very healthy for you.
    Thank Ina and Rachel

I have to admit I'm a bit biased because I love all things Ina, but I can also be objective, and this tartar sauce was really nice. I didn't have or use gherkins, I only had rice wine vinegar so I used that, I added garlic and parsley, and I didnt use mustard at all. Wait...did I even follow her recipe? Well, it was based on hers anyway. And it was good! :

So easy and good. I didn't use the capers because I don't like them but i did add a tsp of chipotle red peppers and it was wonderful. I love watching your shows. Thanks Ina
