Easy and delicious. If you don't have a food processor, just finely chop the pickles and capers. I served it along with Ina's roasted shrimp and cocktail sauce, so the guests had their choice of the two sauces.

I served this tartar sauce with crab cakes and it was excellent. I dont usually keep capers on hand, so I took someone elses advice of adding a few green olives and a splash of the olive juice. I thought it was very tasty. I did, however, add a small PINCH of sugar to balance the flavors. Very good... (and the addition of hot sauce (or red hot would be fabulous - I will definitely do that next time.

I loved this tartar Sauce ! It is a hit Ina.... Thank you !!!! It is very versatile and can be made so many different ways. I didn't have any Capers so left them out, added a little Garlic Powder and Onion Powder to the mix ... it turned out delicious ! It is good as a veggie dip too like with Celery and Carrots. Next time I'll add a little hot sauce to it and maybe some horseradish. OH i could go on and on .. this is the best recipe I've come across for Tartar sauce and it is so easy to fix. Very little clean-up too.

Very good. I made this with a modified version of Guy's catfish with chipotle lime slaw. We added just a hint of horseradish. Yummy without all the sweetness. May try half greek yogurt next time for some of the mayo. It was a hit!

This recipe is great! I make it for fish and chips all the time. Sometimes I substitute calamata olives for cornichons, and it's also delicious.

This tartar sauce was delicious!! I used dill gherkins and just chopped them up finely, no need to use a food processor. I left out the capers because I don't like them and the sauce was still very flavorful. I added a squeeze of lemon juice to brighten it up and give it more tartness. I also used half non-fat greek yogurt and half mayo to make it a bit healthier. Used it to top baked haddock. Awesome.

Better than anything from a jar! We used dill relish, I chopped up the capers first, and then just mixed it real thoroughly in a small bowl - no food processor needed! Quick, easy, and very little cleanup. Nice job Ina!

This stuff is GREAT!!!! I'm on a low carb/belly fat diet and this works to a T !!! NO SUGAR in it if you pick the right pickles. Make it ahead and devour it latter! Ina, you rock on this one!
