I loved the recipe - was fun to make. I served over rice with green sauce (tomatillos, jalapenos, salt, etc and that was the final touch. Definitely will make again.

This is one of our favorite chicken recipe's - love to make it and grill it in the summer. It's great leftover served on a crisp salad.

The 1st time I made this chicken dish, my roommate brought home huge chicken breast w/the bone still in.....that attempt did not turn out so great. BUT I tried again with some chicken tenders and small chicken breast (boneless! =v and it turned out very well! I did brush on a few coats of the marinade while grilling it as well. That helped out a lot for the flavor!

I have made this chicken several times and always for a crowd of people. I am constantly asked for this recipe. I don't know how anyone could think it is flavorless. I do use the boneless, skinless chicken breasts and marinate overnight. I like to slice the chicken up and use if for soft tacos. It is the most delicious chicken I have found for that use.

After reading reviews saying the chicken was flavorless, I decided to bake the boneless, skinless breasts I had in the oven, in the marinade (where they had been sitting for 24 hours. They cooked for about 45 minutes and were delicious. The flavor really seeped in while cooking and the chicken had a nice little kick. I served it with wild rice, over which I spooned the chicken and marinade - flavorful and unique! Also, the tequila I used WAS cheap, two little nips from the front of the liquor store, but still was a great recipe. I think baking vs. grilling made all the difference. My husband said it's a meal we should make for company.

p.s. i even tasted the skin to see if that's where all the flavor went as another reviewer suggested, but sadly, there's was none there, either.

So good and so easy. To get the best flavor you should definitely let it marinate overnight. Also, use a good tequila. Don't short yourself on flavor because you are cheap.
