Ina's Tequila Lime Chicken is a great marinade for the grill. No flare ups or burning of the chicken at all. It has become a staple recipe for me. Good tangy taste. Don't substitute silver tequila for golden tequila. (Result was less flavorfull The leftover chicken makes wonderful chicken salad too.

This recipe made very juicy chicken full of flavor, however, it had a strong tequila taste. For those who like a more mellow alcohol flavor, I made it again with less tequila and it was fabulous! Great with margaritas and guacamole for the perfect fiesta!

I just finished dinner with Ina's Tequila Lime Chicken....it was wonderful!! I mixed up the marinade and let the chicken marinate in the fridge overnight....turning occasionally. I cooked it on my gas grill (the recipe specified charcoal and cooked a little longer than the recipe said, my chicken breasts were a bit thick. It turned out beautifully... I will definitely use this recipe over and over.

For a chicken dish so full of flavor, this recipe couldn't have been simpler. I too used boneless, skinless breasts (as did Ina when she made this on TV and cooked them on the stove using my grill pan. The results were more than satisfying to both my partner and me. To enhance the lime flavor even further, I added the zest of the limes. I also added a little sugar to the leftover marinade and reduced it for a delicious sauce. Thanks, Ina.
