Made dessert #2 - pound cake with amaretto, etc. Used Haagen Daz - swiss chocolate almond ice cream. Also put a scoop of chocolate ice cream and drizzled with chocolate syrup. Everyone loved it and yes...it was quick and easy!

Lauren, you may absolutely substitute coffee for expresso. It won't be as strong a flavor, but it will still be delicious! Btw, Italian dessert #1 is called 'affogato'

In Italian desert #1 does anyone know if it's ok to substitute coffee for espresso? Thanks!
