This Thanksgiving I added 5 new recipes from the FoodTV menagerie. 4 of them were spectacular. However, the Thyme Popovers were a complete DUD!... I have made Popovers before and was looking forward to these. I should have known since other "Barefoot Contessa" recipes turned out to be duds as well. This time I learned my lesson! IOW: Stay with the pros like Emeril, Alton and Tyler.

I made these last night and it was the first time I have made popovers. I made them in a regular disposable muffin pan as I do not have a popover pan in my kitchen (I will buy one now. They were attractive to the eye and the flavor was wonderful.

There are so many additions that could be made to this recipe to change it up; very versatile indeed.

I wish Food Network would bring back Ina 5 or even 7 days per week. Three days are just not enough! Maybe cut back on Rachael Ray a bit?

I made these a while and they came out great, so much so they didn't need additional spreading butter. However, I do caution users that if they have a mini-popover pan, one that holds twelve instead of six, you will need to lower the temperature to 400 degrees for the same amount of cooking time, otherwise they could burn, and that's not good.

This recipe is very easy to prepare and tastes wonderful--nice and toasty on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. My husband wanted a second batch right away!

I made these and served them with roast, potatoes and veggies. They were a big hit! They were very light and yummy. I used dried thyme and added shredded cheese. I will definately make these again!

The directions are concise and easy to follow. The popovers were delicious and very easy to make. The finished product looks and tastes like they were much harder to make than is the case.

I made this recipe without the fresh thyme (forgot to buy it and they were very good. When I first took them out of the oven (exactly 30 mn. later, no peeking, I thought they were burned because they were VERY dark. I was happy when I opened one up and discovered it wasn't burned at all. The outside has a very crisp shell and the inside was extremely light and fluffy. I wouldn't say I loved this recipe, but it was pretty good and I'd try it again.
