Fabulous. Didn't have puff pastry but had homemade pizza dough in freezer so used that instead. Takes a while to make and I had to turn the stove up to med low to get the onions to cook. Followed the recipe exactly but instead of individul tarts just the one big "pizza" It is perfect!

Ina Garten is a Rock Star!! I made these for a luncheon and they were a huge hit. The tarts are incredibly easy to make, and the flavor is brilliant. I didn't make any adjustments to the recipe, and didn't have to...the recipe is perfectly written.

So easy, so delicious, & the perfect thing for brunch. I've made these twice so far. The first time I used one sheet of puff pastry - made two 6 inch tarts and two 3 inch tarts with 1 tomato slice each. We liked the smaller one because all the ingredients were compacted. The next day i made them again, but filled the large tarts with 3 tomato slices each and that made all the difference. Each bite was SO GOOD. My boyfriend ended up eating 3 before I could finish my 1 tart! I'm looking forward to making these again next weekend.

Every time I make this for friends and family they go nuts! It's delicious! Caution: it does take a good amount of time to make so don't try to whip it up last minute.

I was testing this recipe with the intent of using it as an appetizer at my next gathering. So delicious! Gorgeous flavors! I wound up having it for dinner with a salad.

These are to die for! I made them appetizer-size (about 9 per sheet of puff pastry, and added some chopped sun-dried tomatoes (packed in oil and drained well. Got rave reviews from my taste-tester husband and then again when I served them at a girl's night. Definitely will be making this again!

I have made these three times now and people always enjoy them especially my husband! They are pretty easy to make and can be served warm.

I've made these twice now. I made them bite size, so they were a bit time consuming, but were very tastey. My only disappointment was that the outer ring of puff pastry didn't puff up around the tomato mixture so they were pretty flat. It happened both times, each with different batches of pastry, (still 'fresh', so they weren't as pretty as I had hoped, but everyone seemed to like the anyway.

The only problem with this recipe is that I want to eat all 4 tarts myself when I'm finished!! These are SO ridiculously good, even my picky 12 year old likes them! I've made other versions too in an effort to lower the calorie content. For example, I used slightly less cheese, and I used the 100 calorie sandwich thins in lieu of the puff pastry (One sandwich thin makes 2 tarts. Obviously the puff pastry delivers the best taste overall, but the lower calorie alternative is a very close second!
