I am about to make this recipe again for the second time. My husband and I love it. It is light and perfect for any meal. Please make it because you will make it again.

Elegant enough for a party but simple enough for a snack. I love the goat cheese with the fresh tomato and the sweetness from the onions was perfect.
Adding this one to my recipe box for sure.
    Thanks Ina!

I never follow directions exactly unless baking, so this kind of recipe was right up my alley. I don't like tomatoes at all - I love stuff made with tomatoes (salsas, spaghetti sauce, etc. but not fresh tomatoes. So, I used julienned sun-dried tomatoes instead, and it was fabulous! I think you could easily switch up cheeses and other ingredients to make little personal pan tarts for a fun family dinner or cocktail party.

The combination of flavors and textures was just perfect. I cut the recipe in half which yielded only two tarts, but after my husband scarfed his down so quickly we both wished that I had made the entire recipe. Next time I may substitute goat cheese with blue.

I love Ina, but this was not a keeper - way, way too much goat cheese, and the flavors needed... something... maybe more garlic? - or shredded chicken for texture??

I watched the show this past weekend, this recipe looked great so I went to the grocery store and bought the ingredients. My husband and I both thought it was really good. It was easy to make. We had some bacon leftover in the refrigerator so I added that too. Yum!

Ina never disappoints and this tomato and goat cheese tart is no exception! The flavors work beautifully together and it's simple to do. I used plain goat cheese and it was still great. I plan on making it for my friends at the next dinner party. Definitely try this recipe!!

Love these because they're portion controlled with simple ingredients that are easy to pick up. Puff pastry is THE BEST - soooo easy. My only concern is that I would love to make this for a dinner party, but it's pretty time consuming so I don't know how I'd be able to juggle them with other courses. Perhaps I could make the onion mixture ahead of time and then just assemble and throw in the oven?

I haven't made this yet but I will soon! It looks great and it's one of those recipes where you can change ingredients to your own taste.

To the "help" person: you're not supposed to cut the edge completely off. Just score a line to make like a "crust" that puffs up like a pizza.

I watched this episode this past weekend and made it for my friend and I. It was sooo delicious. I bought and modified the ingredients a bit... such as the caramelized onions, regular goat cheese, and packaged parmesan cheese. I did fresh garlic, tomato and basil of course...and it was divine, as far as a pizza can be. Easy and great for a party! I didn't score the dough as Ina said, I just left a edge so the dough could puff up and oh yes it did!
