I made a few changes: Light boursin instead of goat cheese (I really dont like most goat cheese, italian seasoning instead of fresh thyme, a splash of white balsamic instead of wine(forgot to buy the wine - these tarts were fantastic and were well worth the time - a little labor intensive, but definitely a keeper recipe. Thanks, Ina!

I made this recipe last week and served it at a party with 14 of my friends. They raved about how delicious it was the entire party. The ladies asked to have a girls only brunch to eat the goat cheese tarts and drink mimosas. Amazing flavor and so impressive!

We aren't really goat cheese lovers so I used boursin instead (I've also used alouette too and it was great. I also just used the big sheet of puff pastry and made one large tart and cut in sqaure the size of the tomatoes since it was to be served as an appetizer. Another Ina favorite!.

As usual, Ina didn't disappoint! What a delicious recipe! You need to really sweat out the onions by cooking them low and slow (takes a little while, but it's SO worth it!. We used the sweet Vidalia onions, and I added a little crushed red pepper flakes for some kick. Cannot wait until my next dinner party to make this again! =

These mini-cocktail pizzas are great. I love the italian flavors and they are perfectly balanced in this recipe. Thanks Ina!
