this salad was quick and easy to prepare and an excellent side dish for kabobs on the grill on a hot summer mid-week night

I felt like I was in a restaurant with this salad! I kept the tomatoes at room temperature after tossing with the onions, herbs and dressing and let the flavors "marry" for a couple of hours, then added the feta just before serving. Presentation was incredible on a bed of butter lettuce and it helped soak up the extra vinegraitte. I had to use dried basil, but the flavor was still incredible. Ina is THE BEST!

I have made this many times for parties and it continues to be a favorite. Instead of the basil, I put a small container of feta with tomato and basil.

I made this for daughter's graduation party. Everyone raved. Now everyone asks me to bring it to parties. I used crumbed feta instead-just because I get it in bulk. Different presentation, but still tastes delicious!!

This recipe was easy since we grow cherry tomatoes in our garden in the summertime. I had all the ingredients on hand except for the feta. The only change I made was that I buy the sundried tomato and basil flavored feta for an extra kick. I also only make half of the recipe and I find that makes plenty. Thanks again, Ina!

This salad is so good I have made it twice this week alrady. I used chopped tomatoes and added cucumber. The dressing is so good I could almost drink it!
