Overall, very tasty! I am not a fan of modifying Ina's recipes because they are usually perfect the way they are, but I had to mix truffle oil with softened, unsalted butter because I could not get truffle butter where I live. Also, I used dry Marsala wine in place of the cream Sherry in the mushrooms because that's what I had, and I didn't see the harm in that substitution. The mushrooms alone were yummy! FYI on truffle butter: I mixed about 2 teaspoons white truffle oil (mine is quite strong with 8 tablespoons softened butter, then used 3 oz. of that mixture in place of the store bought truffle butter (almost the whole thing is 3 oz..

Was tasty, but not delightful as I had expected. For the cost involved in making this and since it wasn't out of the park, I just can't justify serving it again. This also utilized a lot of pots and pans and cleanup was a bit tedious. I wouldn't advise making this right before a party unless you have someone to help you wash dishes!

Delicious...and I don't even like mushrooms. The mushrooms and the truffle butter make this a super savory and delectable dish! I also like it for dinner parties as I can do most prep work the night before and then just throw it together just before guests come, throw it in the oven as the apps are coming out, and then it stays warm throughout the meal.

I've made this recipe a few times. It is extremely delicious. I don't make it often because it is very expensive to make because of the cheeses and very high in fat. That being noted it is very easy and absolutely wonderful. I've served it at dinner parties and also just for family always to rave reviews. Thanks, Ina..

Takes a while to make (definitely longer than written but is very tasty. I've made it a few times and have omitted the garlic as it was a bit much with the other flavors. I used Truffle oil insteaddog truffle butter since it is what is in my pantry. Overall very decadent and yummy.

Change to different mushrooms as well. I used oyster mushrooms and shiitake.
