This is an amazing recipe. I totally agree about the lemon being just fine, in fact I would prefer it with lemon. Definitely cut back on the salt. I put 1 1/2 tsp. and thought it was perfect. I also cut back a bit on the hot sauce (5-7 drops and added some chili oil. The other changes I made that I would suggest to make it is to add some garlic, sesame oil and a touch of rice wine vinegar. I served this with garlic bread and it was a huge hit!

This tuna salad is a welcome change from the usual mayonnaise-laden canned variety! It's very flavorful and jucy. I would use a little less salt next time, but other than that, it's fantastic!

A winner! I used left over grilled Ahi tuna and it was spectacular. I did not have lime, so substituted lemon and it was fine. My husband loved it.

I'm always looking for ahi or yellowfin tuna recipes, and this one is DEFINITELY a keeper! I made it exactly as Ina's recipe states, except I too, thought the amount of salt was a little excessive. Cut back to one teaspoon of Kosher salt (and believe me, I'm a "salt-a-holic" and it tastes just fine. Also tweaked the tuna by coating in black and white sesame seeds before cooking. I've had it prepared this way quite often, so I thought I would do the same for this recipe, and I WAS NOT disappointed. Wonderful flavor!!! Love, love, love this recipe!

Wow! Another amazing recipe from Ina. Full flavours and lots of texture - I added baby boiled potatoes and served on a bed of leaves - I love the little kick from the wasabi. The only thing I will change next time is the amount of dressing which I found too much as the individual flavours of the avocado, potato and tuna did not come through (I should have listened to previous reviews! Thanks again Ina!

Best tuna dish ever! I agree with other posters, go lightly on the dressing. We had this with baby mixed greens, crusty bread and white wine for a perfect spring dinner.

Wow! I couldn't believe how good this was. And easy. I had purchased a pack of Ahi Tuna (frozen from Costco and was searching for a recipe to use it. This was perfect! I grilled a yellow onion (forgot to buy a red while I was grilling the corn to go with the tuna. And because we had a dinner guest (my 7 year old's friend I made the recipe a bit more kid friendly by making it into tuna melts. I grilled some rolls, added the tuna mix, topped it with provolone and closed the grill until it was melted. Was delicious with the grilled corn and grilled potatoes (cut wedges and par boiled a few minutes, tossed with some steak seasoning & olive oil and tossed on the grill until marked - takes about as long as the corn. Love having new fish recipes to fall back to that are easy! And being in SW Florida it is nice when I can find recipes where I can grill the whole thing outside to keep the house cool.

Really, really tasty. I love avocados so that was a plus for me. I made this recipe about a month ago and I'm making it again tonight. I'm a beginner cook so I always read the reviews before trying a recipe. I did what some reviewers suggested: Salt to taste and served it on a bed of baby spinach. Yum! Healthy, tasty and really easy to make. My boyfriend really liked it :.

This was amazing. Didn't change a thing. For those of you complaining about too much salt, note that kosher salt is lighter and less concentrated than table, so keep that in mind. I do recommend the Kosher salt. My pet peeve is reviewers who didn't follow the recipe (in this case by using table salt and then giving a bad review that the dish was too salty. Don't review if you don't follow instruction to a tee. I've loved every Ina recipe I've tried. .
