I made this lasagna last night, it was INCREDIBLE! One of the best ideas is not to cook the noodles, I let them sit in very hot tap water until the sauce was done and they turned out perfectly. They were not mushy at all when cooked in the lasagna. Ina is the best!

I have to agree with Peaskeeper that this IS the best lasagna in the Universe and no need to change a thing. I have made it several times and it's fabulous and my red meat eaters have no idea it's turkey and love it.

This is the best lasagna in the universe. Don't change a thing. It's perfect as-is. Don't tell people it's turkey until after they've eaten it. They'll never ever guess! I love to make extra pans of this and freeze it for later. I'm pregnant now and plan to freeze at least 10 pans of this to live on after the baby is born! This would also be my go-to recipe to bring to people who are sick, grieving, whatever. It is comfort food at its best, but it's not so heavy. I LOVE this lasagna! :

As most of Ina's recipes, this one was a huge success. The goat cheese in the ricotta is delicious, but subtle. Normally, my children don't like goat cheese, but they both ate seconds of this one. This is my new go to lasagna recipe.

I have been making this for years since I first saw it on the show. I add red pepper flakes to the sauce and it gives it a nice kick. Also I use no boil lasagna noodles for ease. I love that I assemble when I want and its good in fridge till I bake it off. The creamyness of the cheese is what makes it so great. Next time I may even leave out the mozzarella as I dont know that it will be missed.

This is the most amazing lasagna recipe. I have used this recipe 3 or 4 times now and it is by far the best lasagna I have ever had. I followed the recipe to a t and made no changes.

I have made this recipe about 4 or 5 times now. Very easy and quick. I wipped it up in 30 min before I went to work so I could just throw it in the over when I returned from work. The goat cheese is awesome and gives a new twist. The turkey sausage is great too, I added some itilian pork sausage too since I needed to get rid of it. My hubby, 2 and 10 year old love it every time! the best part is LEFTOVERS!!

I loved the addition of the goat cheese to this lasagna and it was very easy to prepare, but both my boyfriend and I agreed that the turkey sausage just wasn't right for this dish. I'll probably try it again and modify the recipe, adding ground beef and mushrooms to the sauce rather than the sausage.
