I have never liked lasagna, but this recipe made my mouth water when I saw Ina making it. I gave it a shot and have made it numerous times. Everyone loves it! I've experimented with using different kinds of turkey sausage and spicy Italian is definitely the best. Best lasagna ever!

This is (hands down our favorite lasagna. I don't even bother ordering lasagna at restaurants anymore because I know mine will always be better.
Ina's recipes are fantastic. Plus this recipe is fairly forgiving. You can substitute jar marinara for the can tomatoes, chicken sausage for turkey, hot for sweet, no bake noodles, etc.
I skip the parsley (less green for the kids. Only downfall is that it is a pricey recipe. Get your cheese at Trader Joes.
Please Note that this recipe requires Way More than 20 minutes prep time. I'd say closer to an hour but worth every minute!

This lasagna is fantastic! I used lean ground beef because that is what I had on hand. The flavor of the sauce is outstanding.

I had not made lasagna in a long time and decided to try this out, but the amount of tomato paste seemed to be a bit much for me, so I'm starting over.

Excellent flavor, but we thought there was far too little pasta for the amount of sauce and cheese. I'll make it again, though, either with a lot more lasagna sheets or as a base for baked ziti. I don't understand all the reviews that say there's not enough sauce.

Really great dish!! We made it with hot Italian turkey sausage and it was good as well. We will definitely be making it again. Mmm
