My husband and kids all love this recipe. I make this with either ground turkey or ground beef. Add mashed potatoes and green beans and how can you go wrong?!?

A really good recipe BUT those on low sodium diets should adjust the salt. Otherwise, it's a keeper.

I don't really ever remembering liking meatloaf, but the reviews were so great and so many, I thought I would give it a try. Really great! Thank you everyone for your great posts! Oh, I cut it by a third after reading that it made so much. It still made two meat loaves which could probably feed four each with no leftovers. We are just two so we had plenty and leftovers. Now one is in the freezer for another day. And EASY with pretty basic ingredients that you would just have around.

My family love meatloaf with topical favor on top of it.
This recipe give me a great guideline to make it and I always add some fruit and vegetable to decorate it.

This is really good but makes a TON of meatloaf. I was going to half the recipe but had the turkey and it needed to be cooked so I made the recipe as is. I did add sage and garlic powder along with the thyme to the mix. For the ketchup topping I made up my own using 1 cup of ketchup, dried mustard powder, clove, nutmeg, dried ginger, red pepper flakes and brown sugar. I also made up 2 individual loaves and cooked for the alotted time, watching to make sure the ketchup topping didn't burn. I had sooo much meatloaf I had to give one to my inlaws! they were very happy and raved it was the best meatloaf ever, and my father-in-law loves meatloaf made with ground beef. He said this was better. Makes the best cold meatloaf sandwiches, too!

Great flavor, but definitely does not hold it's shape up very well. Still 4 stars!

I am writing this as I am eating the most amazing leftover turkey meatloaf sandwich I have ever tasted. The whole family loves this recipe. Even my 4 year old who won't normally eat meat - will eat an entire serving of this. My 2 year old kept asking for more. Definitely a keeper.

This was delicious. I cut the recipe in half and I added sage sausage and some frozen spinach. I would make this for guests.

This was really good meatloaf - however I think next time I would reduce the amount of onion by a tad, it was kind of alot and made it more "falling apart" than it probably would have been. Very moist and delicious. The other change I mad was to use a 15 oz can of tomato sauce with a tsp of minced garlic and tablespoon of chopped basil stirred into it - substituted that for the tomato paste (did not have in pantry and ketchup, which I loathe on meatloaf.
