    I can't get over how juicy this was! I did scale the recipe down by half because I'm not feeding an army and there was plenty of leftovers. The only things I did differently was I used panko bread crumbs, added a few cloves of garlic, fresh parsley, basil and oregano and then put marinara on the top rather than ketchup. It came out really yummy. I think next time I may throw in some chopped fresh mozzarella and sundried tomatoes to the mix. MMMMMMM.... Definitely a keeper!

    This was a great "middle of the week" recipe! It was EASY to prepare and quite tasty. The only thing I would change in the future is to add something green in there! Fresh thyme added a nice flavor but I like to "see" some more green in my meatloaf, so I'll need to play around with it. I don't want to add something that will take away from the thyme effect. I do believe that I liked Rachel Ray's turkey meatloaf recipe better with the sundried tomato and feta...it added more pizzazz! Oh, one more important point....it calls for a TON OF MEAT. I have 7 in my family I have enough leftover to feed the nursing staff at the hospital! Which, of course, they always appreciate! ;

    Love this recipe. I only make half of it, for our family of 5, and we have enough for another meal and a couple sandwiches, half the recipe makes a lot of meatloaf. I mince the onions and don't use as much as the recipe states, makes it more kid friendly. I also add a couple cloves of minced garlic while I saute the onion. When I only make half the recipe I usually only have to cook it for an hour.

    ina, i just wanted to thank you for this recipe. it is fabulous. i have altered the seasonings on occasion to give it a different flavor, such as asian soy, ginger and 5-spice, as well as italian with oregano, a little rosemary, fennel and pepproncino with parmesan, and have never been disappointed. this is my new go to recipe for meatloaf, and i have half the guilt. wonderful, if you want to be more decadent, to wrap in bacon before adding the ketchup! great job! steve

    Very tasty and even better the next day. Easy to make but it's a lot of ketchup - I will try with BBQ sauce next time.

    My family loves turkey meatloaf -- even the teenagers. I do put the onion and celery in my small food processor with some carrots and chop fine (more veggies for the teenagers and I top it with barbeque sauce. My family will eat anything with barbeque sauce on it. Great meal for after football and waterpolo practice.

    Very Tasty, and the trick to keep it moist, works!

    I'm giving this recipe five stars because no matter what you do to it, you can't go wrong! I eyeballed all the measurements, and instead of worcestershire (sp? I used soy sauce. I also minced a clove of garlic for more flavor and since I didn't have thyme, just substituted italian spices for it. Accompanied it with garlic mashed potatoes and a salad and it was the perfect dinner! Thanks Ina!
