Served to company last evening. All enjoyed. It is time consuming slicing veges and layering in pan, though worth it. Next time I will try slicing zucchini and tomatoes slighter wider.

Following receipe I found that it was a bit bland. Not really big on the potatoes in it. The onions, tomatoes, and garlic work well. Going to tinker with it and try another veggie and spice it up a bit.

This dish was pretty good except that I had to bake it for about an hour since the potatoes were not cooking. Next time, I will have the potatoes already parbroiled or fully cooked since the zucchini and tomato cooked much faster. Also, since it baked for 1 hour, the vegetables all lost their color and I wasn't that happy. Also, I didnt use Gruyere cheese (too pricey and I didn't know the taste so I used Monterey Jack. It worked Pretty well. I made this dish for THanksgiving dinner and it was okay.
