So good! We substituted potatoes for squash this year. Tasty side dish for anytime of the year.

Delicious, and SO easy! I'm a new cook and don't like recipes with too many ingredients, since I tend to get overwhelmed. This was simple and fabulous. Absolutely a keeper for me!

I've made this about 4 times and am about to make it again. It's a great way to use the harvest from the garden in season with a lovely presentation. I found taking out the tomato seeds prior to assembly helps with the excess moisture. I'm wondering about trying fennel on the bottom this time as I have a dinner guest tomorrow night who doesn't like onions... Ina always makes us look good in the kitchen and at our dinner parties. Thanks Ina!

Oh My Goooosh....Delicious is all I can say. Made it as a side dish for a Thanksgiving dinner at a friend's and let me tell u, the dish was pretty much licked clean. It was sooo tasty that I came home and made another batch for myself with the leftover ingredients. People called me at home and asked for the recipe. I was shocked that so much flavor can be achieved with such little number of ingredients. Only thing I did was since I love onions soooo much, I added a lot more onions just for my own taste so that I'll have some in every bite. Super Delicious....Go Ina, u rock!

Rave reviews for the Vegetable Tian. Loved the fabulous color from the vegetable combination. I did not have a problem with extra moisture from the tomatoes. The tomatoes I used were very ripe and juicy, medium sized. I used a combination of leftover cheeses, mostly sharp cheddar with excellent results. This dish would travel well and be delicious for a picnic or party. Thanks, Ina.

This dish is wonderful. I have been baking this tian for about 8 years. I do, however, take out the tomatoes and put in yellow, zuchinni and potatoes. There is no extra moisture when not using the tomatoes. Also, I have used various cheeses, all are great!!!

The most amazing veggie dish!! Another wonderful recipe from Ina!! We have made this easy dish for several people and received rave reviews. I am not a very talented cook, so slice all the ingredients with a food processor. I think that fontina cheese is better than the gruyere.

This was VERY good! I agree with the other reviews in that you WILL need to drain the dish (I used a turkey baster of the excess liquid. Also, make sure that your guests enjoy onions...there are a lot of onions involved. ;D

I made this for a brunch and it's now one of my mom's favorite dishes. I also had to drain off some liquid during cooking, but in making several times have learned the meatier the tomatoes, the less problems with that (though still some. Everyone I've made this for loves this dish, including me!
